Meowcoin is a digital peer-to-peer (P2P) network built on the KaWPOW blockchain with specific intent to remain ASIC free. It was released on Sep. 4, 2022 with what is called a fair launch: no premine, ICO or masternodes. A primary feature of the blockchain is the transfer of assets from one party to another. Meowcoin intends to tokenise pet adoption, pet pedigree papers and partner for pet retail loyalty schemes. Meowcoin also financially contributes to animal shelters around the world; partnering to help make animal lives better.
