Iron Fish is a decentralized, proof-of-work (PoW) blockchain project that aims to provide strong privacy guarantees on transactions. It follows the Sapling protocol and enables easy-to-use, fully-private payments. Each account has a view key for read-only permission. The Iron Fish networking layer supports WebRTC with WebSockets, making it easy for users to make a true P2P connection. The first implementation is designed to run a full node directly in the browser in future iterations. The focus is to lower the barrier to entry for anyone with a computer.
